Triple celebration for local law firm
3rd October 2016
Local law firm JWK Solicitors are celebrating the news that they have yet again been recommended in the UK's Legal 500.
"To be listed in the Legal 500 is one of the highest accolades for a law firm, and to be listed three times is very special", said Ian Gee, director at JWK Solicitors. "The rankings in the Legal 500, which has just been published for 2016, are based on a series of criteria, but simply put, they highlight the teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice".
For Commercial Property, the firm has been praised for its efficiency and professionalism with Peter Bujakowski being described as an "outstanding lawyer". JWK are the only firm between Preston and Carlisle to be recommended.
For Agriculture and Estates, headed up by director Tony Collinson, JWK is the only firm listed in the same Preston to Carlisle area and for Aviation JWK is the UK's only recommended firm north of Liverpool and Manchester. A great achievement.
A further cause for celebration is the promotion of solicitor Sarah Murphy to the firm's board of directors. Sarah, who also chairs the trustees of the local charity Animal Care, specialises in advising elderly and vulnerable clients. She is a professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly and has been chosen to be part of the Law Society's Private Client Advisory Committee in recognition of her outstanding work in this area of law.
Sarah commented," I am delighted to be part of the board of directors at JWK. The firm offers an outstanding service to its clients, and its commitment to supporting local charities and community groups is something of which I am very proud."
