Eligible SMEs are now being invited to register their interest in government grants of up to £5,000 to fund new equipment, technology and specialist advice to aid their recovery.
The Government recently announced two separate funds for grants for small business affected by COVID 19. One is specifically aimed at the Tourism sector, and the other open to all sectors. In Lancashire the grants will be administered by BOOST on behalf of MHCLG.
SMEs are eligible (same eligibility guidance as for ERDF) and can register their interest in the grant scheme now at [email protected]. They will then be contacted when the scheme goes live to apply for funding through a formal Expression of Interest.
Grants are non-repayable and 100% (no match is required). There will be a maximum of £5k per SME and they will have to show their business has been affected by the pandemic.
