Mental Health Awareness Training

Lancaster and District Chamber of Commerce is offering local businesses the opportunity to sign up for a half day Mental Health Awareness interactive, instructor-led online course.

The course has been designed as an introduction to mental health to raise awareness of how important it is to the workplace. It provides an overview of mental health problems, outlining some of the symptoms and effects, and explains what you can do to help colleagues feel supported and encouraged.This is an introductory course designed to increase mental health awareness and give an understanding of how to look after wellbeing and challenge stigma.

In this time of uncertainty looking after our mental health is vital. This course will help you to recognise and maintain good mental health habits.

The course is accredited by Mental Health First Aid England and on completion of the course you will receive an MHFA certificate.

Your will also receive a manual to refer to whenever you need it (posted before the course), as well as a workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health.
