Lancaster Infrastructure Consultations

22nd October 2020

Lancashire County Council has just announced a public consultation on two major infrastructure schemes for the Lancaster district.

The two schemes are a major ‘City Centre Movement and Public Realm Strategy’ and proposals for reconfiguration of Junction 33 of the M6 along with a new link road to access the city from the south.

Consultations on both schemes are open from Monday 26thOctober through to Sunday 6th December.

Both schemes are billed as a once in a lifetime opportunity to shape the future of our city centre. We encourage all businesses to take a look at the information available and contribute to the consultation to make sure your voice is heard.

Please also share your views with Lancaster BID and we will collate responses with a view to submitting a formal response from Lancaster BID representing the combined views of city centre businesses.

Full details of the proposals and consultation can be found HERE.
