It’s great to see fabulous engagement with our recent newsletters as we have been working hard to ensure that you quickly get the most up to date essential information on the things that affect your businesses. Whether it’s information on drawing money down from government, or rules on furlough, we are trying our best to keep you informed please let us know if there is any other information you need. On a positive note, Lancaster City Council has been really good at working in collaboration with BID, keeping us in the loop with any developments. It’s really positive to have a good working relationship with our local authority in times like these – I can tell from other BIDs they don’t have the same partnership.
Despite the challenging times for us all, it is heart-warming to see so many acts of kindness emerging across the local community.A great thing that we managed to bring together last week was delivery of free flowers across a few organisations to bring some hope in these difficult times. Special thanks must go to M&S for supplying the flowers for free and JDG Estate Agents for kindly delivering across organisations such as St John’s Hospice and frontline workers at the RLI.
