LMC Business develops and supports over 550 Apprentices each year in the Lancaster & Morecambe area. This includes working with over 500 businesses in the region and providing achievement rates 9% higher than the national average.
Bruno Buccelli, owner of Buccelli’s in Lancaster, hosted a masterclass at Lancaster & Morecambe College to a handful of LMC Apprentices, benefitting the learners and also Bruno’s business in terms of building his brand name. Something he described as “giving back to the community”.
The Apprenticeship Scheme provides skilled workers for the future, increasing staff loyalty and retention, and is also an affordable option for businesses in the BID area.
Bruno has been managing Aaron as an Apprentice since September 2019, and says;
“Having an Apprentice is affordable for business owners, and on top of that, you can teach the new apprentice how to work in your environment; I’ve been given a massive opportunity to keep him on board after the apprenticeship is complete.”
