Homeless Action Charity Ball

6th October 2016

Mark Whiteman, Managing Director of Reid Hamilton & Co. Ltd has been telling Lancaster BID about the Homeless Action Service where he operates as the chair of trustees.

The Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service (LDHAS) welcome all vulnerable people from many varied backgrounds where circumstance has led them to be sleeping rough, or struggling to manage their own accommodation. The service is committed to helping people find accommodation and learn the life skills essential for independent living and provide help and support to engage with the job market as well as being a community hub to offer hot food and support where needed.

LDHAS's Annual Charity Black Tie Ball will take place on Saturday 22nd October at The Globe Arena. This sold out event will enable the charity, which is exclusively funded by grants and donations, to continue the hard work and support Lancaster's most needy and desperate people.
