Holdens are delighted to be the first company to sign up as a Gold commercial partner with Lancaster BID for the next 12 months. With over 170 years based in the local area, Holdens values the heritage of Lancaster city centre and is proud to make a positive contribution back into the local community.
Our partnership with Lancaster BID ensures high visibility for our brand whilst providing confidence that we are investing into the future of Lancaster to make it a better place to visit, live, work and do business. Through high quality events and improvement initiatives, Holdens partnership with BID is helping to raise the profile of this incredible city on a regional and national basis.
A higher profile will help build the reputation of the city and attract visitors and potential investors from across the Northwest and beyond. Holdens reputation will gain a positive boost from this association with Lancaster BID.
Throughout the year Holdens will continue to bring you regular updates through the BID newsletter. We will also be engaging with businesses across the city centre through support for one of the BID Breakfast events and sponsoring the newly introduced Professional Services category at the 2020 Lancaster BID Ambassador Awards.
For the local community we have signed up as a sponsor of Festa Italia when it returns to the city centre in September. Holdens has supported this festival since the inaugural event in 2018 and seen it rapidly grow to become a key event in Lancaster’s annual calendar. Turning the city centre red, white and green, and with Italian food and music filling the streets, Festa Italia is a prime example of what can be achieved through local businesses working together for the benefit of the city.
Finally Holdens will once again be proudly sponsoring the Christmas trees when they return to Market Square at the end of the year – never too early to start planning for Christmas!!
