Helping Lancaster Bloom

8th February 2018

Lancaster BID recognises how important it is for the city centre to be bright and welcoming to everyone who visits. Spring bedding plants help make the city centre bloom and mark the start of spring with vibrant colours.

Lancaster BID is once again pleased to sponsor the spring bedding plants in Dalton Square. Not only is this location highly visible from the one-way system, it provides the important first impression as the main drop-off point for coach tours visiting the city.

Tom Fyson, Lancaster BID Development Manager, said "A key aim of Lancaster BID is to make the city centre more visually attractive. By working with partners we can ensure we achieve an even bigger impact to make Lancaster an attractive place to visit."

Any businesses who wish to partner with Lancaster BID and suggest locations for additional bedding are encouraged to get in touch with Tom at: info@lancasterbid.org or phone 01524 590650.

Spring bedding is being planted and maintained by Lancaster City Council, who also continue to fund the summer bedding in all city centre locations.
