Following on from the huge success of Festa Italia over the last 2 years, we had planned to showcase all things favuloso once again in September 2020. However, due to the current situation and the government guideline we have made the very sad decision to cancel Festa Italia for 2020.
Events and Marketing Coordinator for Lancaster BID, Victoria Muir, said “Having had such great Festas previously we did not want put anything on this year that was not of the same standards. This event attracted such a large crowd that we didn’t want to put anyone’s safety at risk, so whilst this is very disappointing we feel it is for the best. It just means we will have to come back even bigger and better for our Festa Italia 2021. This is an event that we have loved doing and has become a favourite in our schedule so we will definitely be looking forward to bringing it back next year and celebrating another day of all things Italian in Lancaster.”
