Lancaster University Management School currently has two fully funded training programmes available which may be of interest to city centre businesses.
The Business Model Innovation and Evolve Digital programmes each have their own specific focus and eligibility criteria. See below for full details and to find out how to register your interest in being involved.
Business Model Innovation, a new online peer-learning program specifically designed to help Lancashire SMEs innovate within their business model to build resilience and flexibility. This is a fully funded program, consisting of 3 half day workshops over a 6 week period, delivered online via Microsoft Teams. Aimed at directors, owner managers or senior employees with strategic influence, participants will learn how they can create, deliver and capture value differently in order to withstand external forces or future market crises such as Covid, Brexit or climate change.
Starting on November 18, each workshop will examine these three components and use a blend of theories, models and practical activities to support you to explore ways to innovate and to build flexibility and resilience in your business model. Business Model Innovation offers the business leader the opportunity to take time out to work on the business, as opposed to within the business. The support of other participants is a real plus of this program – the peer learning environment allows for the exchange of ideas, which will provide stimulus and challenge from like minded business leaders.
