Cumberland donates to Lancaster based charity

14th June 2016

Cumberland Building Society recently made a donation to the Olive Branch Charity based in Lancaster.

The Olive Branch provides help and support to local families and individuals affected by homelessness, poverty and deprivation. The centre also helps people with debt and budgeting advice, literacy support and supplies emergency food parcels.

The Society's donation was used to help buy stock for the charity's food bank.

Rebecca Watts (pictured left), branch manager of the Society's Lancaster branch, met with Kath Willis (pictured right) from the Olive Branch to hand over the donation and see first hand some of the fantastic work they do for the local community.
