UK Corporate Games – Lancaster 23rd – 26thJuly 2020
The UK Corporate Games will be hosted in Lancaster in July 2020. It will bring thousands of competitors to the city and is expected to bring a significant economic boost to local businesses, in particular the leisure and hospitality sectors. The Corporate Games have been staged in cities around the World since 1988 with first UK Corporate Games being held in 1992 and bring together businesses from all across the UK to compete in a weekend of sport. One of the main attractive features of the Games is that anyone can enter regardless of age, sporting ability or level of physical fitness and this is complemented by age categories for most events which go up to 60+ yrs.

There are 24 sports on the programme from running, cycling, badminton and table tennis to poker and dragon boat racing meaning that there is something for everyone to enjoy over the weekend. We have teams who enter just 1 or 2 people to companies who enter 200+ and everyone at the Corporate Games gets treated exactly the same. One person may enter only one sport but can compete in more than one event within that sport for example a tennis player may enter the singles and the doubles tournament.
The Games weekend kicks off with a registration event being held at the LICA Building at Lancaster University. This event will include the Grand Athletes Parade where teams will have the opportunity to gather and parade into the event to be officially welcomed into the Games, followed by an evening of live music and licensed bar. Some sports will begin on the Friday 24th, with most commencing on the Saturday and continuing through to Sunday afternoon.
One of the highlights of the Games will be the Great Games Party held on the Saturday evening where teams will have a chance to get together and enjoy live music with a licensed bar, which will create a real festival atmosphere.
The cost of entry is £79 + VAT per person and this includes registration, opening ceremony including the athlete’s parade, live music, participation in the sport event over the weekend, souvenir programme, Games Gift t-shirt and medal ceremonies. There are sponsorship opportunities available if this is something that your company would be potentially interested in discussing. We are running 10% discounts on entries up until 20th December 2019 and a 5% discount running until 31stJanuary 2020.
