Lancaster BID recently welcomed Bruno Buccelli to the Management Board, an increase in his level of engagement from his longstanding membership of the Events and Marketing Sub Group.
Bruno moved in the UK in the early 2000 and, after spending over 20 years in the Audio Visual and Television area all around Europe and Central America, decided to follow his family tradition and passion of working in the catering business and he opened Buccelli’s.
Established in November 2016, Buccelli’s is a hidden gem on Church Street in Lancaster city centre. A mix of Cafe, Delicatessen and Bistro, Buccelli’s brings an authentic slice of Italy to the North of England.
In September 2017 Bruno Buccelli, owner and executive chef of Buccelli’s, launched their Osteria. Homely, Italian cuisine offered at a fixed price, three-course menu reflecting how Italians dine out in Italy: side to side with other customers and with the opportunity of meeting new friends in a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere.
After opening his business Bruno felt he wanted to contribute to help improve Lancaster and so joined the BID event subgroup in 2017, where he collaborated to organise events and inspired Lancaster Festa Italia.
Through joining the Management Board, Bruno hopes to contribute more to the Lancaster BID for the benefit of the whole city centre.
