If you have been out and about over the past week you may have noticed that the bespoke bunting has returned to hang above key pedestrian entry points into the city centre.
The bunting was purchased last year as an investment to brighten up the city centre throughout the summer months. We had scheduled it to be put back up in March, but plans were inevitably put on hold as the lockdown commenced.
As more businesses are able to reopen, we felt that the time was right to hang out the bunting and make sure the city centre is welcoming to visitors to encourage people to cautiously return to the city centre and Shop Local, supporting their local businesses.
In the coming months we will be considering further options to enhance the look of Lancaster city centre and encourage a gradual increase in footfall whilst ensuring social distancing can be maintained. If you have any suggestions please get in touch at [email protected].
