This month sees the next phase of our programme of improvement works to brighten up the city centre. Thanks to support from Lancaster University Homes we are delighted to reveal new promotional hoarding panels which are currently being installed around the old Bensons for Beds premises on Brock Street.
The panels will feature some of the many highlights of our historic city centre including many of the flagship events taking place throughout the year. This will greatly improve the appearance of this currently derelict premises until future redevelopment gets underway.
The hoarding panels will be further complemented by the next phase of planters which will be installed later this month. These will be focused on Upper Penny Street and will include the four corners of the junction between Penny Street, Brock Street and Common Garden Street.
The bunting across the city centre will also return in the next few weeks to really brighten up the city centre throughout the summer months.
