Bay Radio to Launch Bay Living Magazine
20th March 2017
The team based at North Lancashire & South Cumbria's most listened to radio station, The Bay, have today confirmed they are behind the launch of an exciting new lifestyle magazine. 'Bay Living' will be dedicated to the unique communities of Morecambe Bay.
The radio station, part of CN Group, will be working with colleagues from award winning Cumbria Life, to deliver a vibrant magazine packed with news and features aimed at those people who enjoy making the most of living in and around the Bay. The news follows a successful pilot project, 'The Bay Gateway Magazine', the team delivered towards the end of 2016 which generated lots of positive feedback and praise from within the local community. 'Bay Living' is now scheduled to launch at the end of May 2017.
Managing Director of The Bay, Bill Johnston, told us: "Bay Living will fill a huge gap in the media market across the Bay area. Over 24 years our radio station has forged it's own unique identity across North Lancashire and South Cumbria and is the only media brand that serves this special part of the UK. To overlay our broadcast footprint with a quality lifestyle magazine is a very exciting development. We'll now be able to offer local companies a unique 'sound & vision' marketing solution. No other media company locally is able to deliver the powerful combination of broadcast, print and digital all at the same time."'Bay Living' will be a dedicated lifestyle, people and business magazine devoted solely to the unique communities around Morecambe Bay. From Barrow to Kendal, Windermere to Carnforth, Lancaster to Morecambe... and everything in between,Bay Living's mission is to celebrate and showcase a growing, confident and very special part of the UK.
Publishing Director, Richard Eccles, is excited about the launch and told us:"We will celebrate the success stories of Bay people and businesses, and showcase the vibrant towns, villages and communities across the Bay area. Our food and drink, homes and interiors, and arts and events sections will be an essential guide to life in the Bay, plus there will be fashion, shopping, walking, wildlife, motoring, finance and much more."
Lancaster based staff behind the launch are also on the look out for contributors who would like to get involved. Richard Eccles added: "We'll be getting out and about photographing social, business, charity and community events, parties, festivals and shows across the region. Our diary is packed already but we'll be pleased to hear from people who feel they can contribute in some way."'Bay Living' magazine will be launching at the end of May amidst a blaze of publicity across all of CN Group's broadcast, print and online titles. Now is the time to get in touch to be part of this exciting launch:
