This Christmas we are looking to do alternative events as we are not able to have the normal festive celebrations to help bring people into the city. With this in mind we are joining together with local artists to bring the 12 days of Christmas to life, using empty units across the city and some businesses. We are looking to paint scenes depicting each of the 12 days in the shop windows to give local residents something bright and beautiful to look at during these difficult times.
These windows will all be alongside the usual array of Christmas lights and decorations going up in the city, although sadly this year we will not be hosting the Christmas Light Switch On. However, we want to make sure there is still a visual spectacular for all to view and hope that our 12 windows will add a little something extra to the festive spirit.
The windows will also form a trail on our recently launched LoyalFree App with a prize draw for people who find them all.
We are utilising some of the empty units in the city to help brighten them up and we are also looking for 6 businesses that would like to take part in this and have their windows decorated as part of the event. The displays will be spread around the city centre so we are looking for businesses in different streets who would like to take part and they will be chosen on a first come first served basis.
