LUTG Presents Shakespeare's Twelfth Night in the park

14th June 2019 - 15th June 2019

Lancaster University Theatre Group presents - Shakespeare in the park.

Come and see Shakespeare's comedy of mistaken identity:

Twelfth Night, or What You Will The play centres on the twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck. Viola (who is disguised as a man, Cesario) falls in love with Duke Orsino after her sends her as an emissary to woo Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola, Countess Olivia falls in love with her thinking she is a man and to further complicate things Viola has fallen in love with Duke Orsino. Then in a further plot twist Viola's twin brother turns up and Sebastian's appearance adds the confusion of mistaken identities in the comedy.

The LUTG version of the play is being set during World War Two but we will still have fun and comedy all round.

The performances will take place in Williamsons Park on the 14thand 15th June.
