Dino-Day

Did you know that Sir Richard Owen, the man who invented the word Dinosaur who was born right here in Lancaster! Lancaster BID are celebrating the history of Sir Richard Owen, 125 years since he passed away with a Dinosaur themed day of fun for all the family!

Dino-Day will take place on Friday 2nd June 2017 from 11am-4pm. 

There will be loads to see and do, including Dinosaur face painting, crafts, trails and colouring competitions, make sure you don't miss out! 

 

Dino-Day Activities will include:                      

10am - 5pm Dinosaur Trail- Lancaster City Museum

10.30 am - 12.00am Dino Makes- Lancaster City Museum

11am - 4pm Dinosaur Face Painting- MarketGate Shopping centre  

11am - 4pm Fun Fair- Market Square

11am- 4pm Archaeological Dig- St.Nics Shopping Centre

11am - 4pm Dinosaur Colouring Competition- MarketGate Shopping Centre

12pm - 12.30pm Rex the T-Rex- Market Square

12.30pm - 12.50pm New-born Dinosaurs-  MarketGate Shopping Centre

1pm - 1.30pm Rex the T-Rex- Market Square

1.30 pm - 3.30pm Dino Makes- Lancaster City Museum

1.30pm Jurassic Park Film Screening- The Dukes Cinema

2pm - 2.30pm Rex the T-Rex- Market Square

2pm - 3pm Dinosaur Crafts- Lancaster Library

3pm - 3.30pm Rex the T-Rex- Market Square

3.40pm- 4pm New-born Dinosaurs- MarketGate Shopping Centre
